Peak season is here, but it certainly doesn’t feel that way. Rates are underperforming past holiday seasons. Spot rates continued to decline from September to October, but we expect to see signs of improvement in Q2 2022.
We are in a “normalized” freight market now, but Q1 2023 will bring lower rates. TrueNorth has been actively taking steps to build out our dedicated and contractor lanes to reduce exposure to falling spot rates. Read more about our strategy and outlook.
